The dealer dashboard, the audit, and the pay calendar. This is the page a skeptical dealer forwards to a partner.
The dashboard
Every dealer gets a live dashboard. It shows four numbers at the top: submitted this week, installed, owed to you, and the next payout date. Below that, every sale by rep with its status: submitted, scheduled, installed, at risk, canceled. The “owed” number is not an estimate. It is the number we pay against.
The audit
Carrier reports are wrong more often than anyone admits: a sale keyed under the wrong rep code, an install completed but not marked, an address that does not match. Under most master dealers, a sale that goes missing is your problem to prove. Under Velocity One, every pay cycle we reconcile your reps’ submissions against the carrier’s own records, line by line. When something is missing on their side, we chase it. When it is recovered, it shows on your dashboard as recovered and it gets paid.
We do not publish how the reconciliation works, because it is the reason our numbers are cleaner than the industry’s. We walk every qualified dealer through it on the call.
The pay calendar
- Installs confirmed during the week are paid the following week.
- Chargebacks appear on the dashboard with the reason before they are applied.
- You can export every pay period to a spreadsheet at any time.
Why we built it this way
We ran a sub-dealer crew for years. We know what it is like to wait six weeks for a check that does not match the count. The dashboard and the audit exist because nobody offered them to us.
